Things that kill a Strong Relationship

You know what are those things that kill a Strong Relationship?

_Ego.
_Anger.
_Doubts.
_ Too Unrealistic Expectations
_ Trying to control ur partner
_Thinking that you are always right
_ Criticizing your partner ( avoiding the good part and instead focusing on ur partner's less than perfect side)
_ Hurting / Insulting / Embarrassing ur partner and ur partner's family
_Misunderstandings and lack of trust
_Lack of understandings.
 _ Over possessiveness or Envy
_Reminding the past mistakes of ur partner.
_ Threatening ur partner with Divorce / Separation / Break up ( ur partner can never feel comfortable in a relationship if u r threatening to end it casually )
_ Thinking that ur partner will change ( People change because they want to not because you want them to. People entering marriage and committed relationships do change some of the things they do. And all people change and grow as they age. But people rarely change for the better when they are under pressure from someone else…even a loved one. )

Just gonna stand there And watch me burn
But that's alright
Because I like The way it hurts  ...
Just gonna stand there And hear me cry
But that's alright Because I love The way you lie

The Burial of Prophet Muhammad (s) on Tuesday?

The Burial of Prophet Muhammad (s) on Tuesday?

If your Shia friend has told you that Prophet (SAWW) died on a Monday and was not buried till Tuesday night. This was because all the Sahaba were busy ‘usurping’ the Khilafah (Nauzobillah) and were least bothered about the funeral. So the Shia say is that what really happened was that Ali (R.A.) and his family members alone themselves bathed the Prophet and buried him on Monday. They also say that Prophet (SAWW) died in the arms of Ali (R.A.) and not Ayesha (R.A.) as we Ahlus Sunnah say…

Malik : : Book 16 : Hadith 16.10.27

“Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, died on Monday and was buried on Tuesday and people prayed over him individually with no one leading them.”

Some people said that he would be buried near the Mimbar, and others said that he would be buried in Al-Baqi. Abu Bakr Assiddique came and said, “I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say, ‘No prophet was ever buried except in the place where he died.’ “So a grave was dug for him there. When he was about to be washed they wished to take off his shirt but they heard a voice saying “Don’t take off his shirt,” so they did not take off his shirt and he was washed with it on, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.

So we learn that Indeed Prophet (SAWW) died on Monday and he was buried on Tuesday. Now the reason for this delay was not because Sahaba (R.A.A.) were busy, but because the hundred’s and thousand’s of Muslims had to pray Namaz-e-Janaza (The funeral prayer) over him and they did this in small small groups because the room of Aisha R.A. where he was laying was quite small.

Then there was a dispute amongst the Sahaba (R.A.A.) as to where to bury him and it was Abu Bakr (R.A.) who informed the others that Prophets are always buried where they die and this is what he learned from Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) and so he was buried in the room of Ayesha (R.A.) as it was the place where he had died as is clear from the above men.

Now the funny thing with the shias is that they lie too much (since it is part of their religion and they term this lying as Taqayyiah) and when you lie and lie and you lie to cover up your lies… the end result is that the story is flawed.

They say that Prophet (SAWW) died in the room of Ali (R.A.) in his arms… so why was he buried in the room of Ayesha? If it was only Ali R.A. and his closest companions who buried him. why didn’t they choose some other location instead of the room of Ayesha (R.A.) whom according to the shia were not on good terms.

Later on they make up more lies and say that Ayesha did not allow Fatima (R.A) to be buried in her room next to the Prophet (SAWW) grave!

This proves that it was not only Ali R.A. and his close companions who hurriedly buried him on Monday but it was a mutual decision of all the Sahaba R.A.A. including Ali, Abu Bakr and Umar ( R.A.A.) and they were all on good terms and that he was buried on Tuesday after all the Muslims had prayed over him.

(I request to all my Muslim brothers, sisters and friends please learn this answer and throw on their faces.)

Islamic Ruling on keeping a dog as pet

ALSALAAM ALAIKUM

I HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT KEEPING PETS IN THE HOUSE.I KNOW THAT THE KALB(DOG)IS CONSIDERED NIJASA, BUT I DON'T KNOW WHY.

I REMEMBER A SECTION IN THE Qur'an WHERE THE PROPHET PEACE BE UPON HIM ONCE GAVE A THIRSTY DOG WATER TO DRINK OR SOMETHING TO THAT EFFECT.

COULD YOU PLEASE ELABORATE.

THANK YOU

Praise be to Allaah.

According to Islaamic Sharee'ah, it is not permitted to keep a dog except within narrowly-defined limits, as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) explained: "Whoever keeps a dog, his good deeds will decrease every day by one qeeraat (a unit of measurement), unless it is a dog for farming or herding." According to another report: ". . . unless it is a dog for herding sheep, farming or hunting." (Reported by al-Bukhaari, al-Fath, 2322)

Dogs are extremely naajis (impure, unclean). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "If a dog drinks from the vessel of any one of you, let him wash it seven times" (reported by Muslim, no. 279). According to another report: ". . . and clean it the eighth time with earth." (Saheeh Muslim, no. 280).

It is forbidden in Islaam to sell a dog and to receive payment for it, as is reported in Saheeh al-Bukhaari from Abu Mas'oud al-Ansaari: the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) forbade (accepting) the price of a dog. (al-Fath, no. 2237)

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) told us not to resemble dogs by placing our forearms on the ground during sujood (prostration), as in reported in the hadeeth narrated by Anas ibn Maalik, according to which the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Do sujood properly; none of you should spread his forearms like a dog does." (al-Bukhaari, Fath, no. 822).

Whoever keeps a dog in his house is denied the blessing of the angels' presence in his house, as the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "The angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog." (Reported by al-Bukhaari, 3225).

Keeping dogs nowadays is the habit of the kuffaar, who adopt them as friends, kiss them, let them lick them and their clothes, sleep with them and even leave them money in their wills. Keeping a dog is an imitation of the kuffaar. Some Muslims may claim that they need to keep a dog at home for purposes of protection, to which we respond that nowadays there are burglar alarm systems and other measures one may take for security purposes, and there is no need to keep a dog, praise be to Allaah.

It only remains for us to say that the fact that it is forbidden to keep a dog and interect closely with it does not mean that we should not be kind or feel compassion towards dogs if we see them in a pitiful state. These are two entirely separate matters. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) told us that "a man saw a dog biting the dust because of thirst, so he took his shoe and started to scoop water up with it until the dog's thirst was quenched. Allaah appreciated his good deed and granted him entry to Paradise for it." (Reported by al-Bukhaari, no. 174).

According to another report, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Whilst a man was walking he became very thirsty, so he went down to a well and drank from it. When he came out, he saw a dog panting and biting the soil because of thirst. The man said, 'He is suffering the same as I suffered,' so he filled his shoe (with water), came out and let the dog drink until his thirst was quenched. Allaah appreciated his good deed and forgave him because of it." The people asked, "O Messenger of Allaah, will we be rewarded for how we treat animals?" He said, "In every living thing there is a reward." (Reported by al-Bukhaari, Fath, no. 2363).

We do not want to omit reminding you of the importance of reading the Qur'aan properly and referring to it. You say in your question that the story of the thirsty dog is in the Qur'aan, and that is not the case, as it is reported in the Sunnah.

And Allaah knows best.

Life can begin at 60, it is all in your hands! ( A Post for oldies )

Many people feel unhappy, health-wise and security-wise, after 60 years of age, owing to the diminishing importance given to them and their opinions. But, it need not be so, if only we understand the basic principles of life and follow them scrupulously. Here are ten mantras to age gracefully and make life after retirement pleasant.

1. Never say I am aged' : There are three ages, chronological, biological, and psychological. The first is calculated based on our date of birth; the second is determined by the health conditions; the third is how old we feel we are. While we don't have control over the first, we can take care of our health with good diet, exercise and a cheerful attitude. A positive attitude and optimistic thinking can reverse the third age.

2. Health is wealth: If you really love your kith and kin, taking care of your health should be your priority. Thus, you will not be a burden to them. Have an annual health check-up and take the prescribed medicines regularly. Do take health insurance coverage.

3. Money is important: Money is essential for meeting the basic necessities of life, keeping good health and earning family respect and security. Don't spend beyond your means even for your children. You have lived for them all through and it is time you enjoyed a harmonious life with your spouse. If your children are grateful and they take care of you, you are blessed. But, never take it for granted.

4. Relaxation and recreation: The most relaxing and recreating forces are a healthy religious attitude, good sleep, music and laughter. Have faith in God, learn to sleep well, love good music and see the funny side of life.

5. Time is precious: It is almost like holding a horses' reins. When they are in your hands, you can control them. Imagine that everyday you are born again. Yesterday is a cancelled cheque. Tomorrow is a promissory note. Today is ready cash - use it profitably. Live this moment; live it fully, now, in the present time.

6. Change is the only permanent thing: We should accept change - it is inevitable. The only way to make sense out of change is to join in the dance. Change has brought about many pleasant things. We should be happy that our children are blessed.

7. Enlightened selfishness: All of us are basically selfish. Whatever we do, we expect something in return. We should definitely be grateful to those who stood by us. But, our focus should be on the internal satisfaction and the happiness we derive by doing good for others, without expecting anything in return. Perform a random act of kindness daily.

8. Forget and forgive: Don't be bothered too much about others' mistakes. We are not spiritual enough to show our other cheek when we are slapped in one. But for the sake of our own health and happiness, let us forgive and forget them. Otherwise, we will be only increasing our blood pressure.

9. Everything has a purpose: Take life as it comes. Accept yourself as you are and also accept others for what they are. Everybody is unique and is right in his own way.

10. Overcome the fear of death: We all know that one day we have to leave this world. Still we are afraid of death. We think that our spouse and children will be unable to withstand our loss. But the truth is no one is going to die for you; they may be depressed for some time. Time heals everything and they will go on.

Treating the Antibiotic Cough and Cold Myth

They can't, because both coughs are colds are bodies fighting, and trying to destroy the viruses causing infection in the respiratory tract.

Self Medication

This is the reason why people use the leftover antibiotics from a previously recommended course of medicine, and take them without any medical consultation. This may, in fact, worsen the problem by delaying the proper treatment of illnesses that require a different course of medication.

Misusing Antibiotics

A faulty understanding of how the human body works, as well the real cause of coughing and other respiratory problems, and problems for which a bacteria (and not a virus) might be to blame.

Misusing them might also create a new strain of untreatable infections by enabling drug resistance. According to the The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, antimicrobial resistance "is one of the most serious public health..in the EU", killing 25,000 Europeans every year.

Heavy usage of antibiotics could also lead to antibiotic-related diarrhea, a dangerous condition when the human body is rapidly losing fluids.

Signs and Treatment Facts

  • Antibiotics will not increase the recovery rate of most coughs and colds.
  • Do not take them unless your physician prescribes them.
  • Do not panic when you see yellow phlegm - you still do not need antibiotics. In fact, a runny -nose-sore-throat combination (with phlegm) means that antibiotics might not be an effective.

You might, however need an antibiotic when you're running a high temperature, red throat and feeling ill

Other Precautions

Do not keep leftover doses - even if you've gotten well, finish the entire prescribed course of medication. If you do have medications from your last bout of illness, ask your doctor what to do with it, or take it only when it is prescribed.

How to tell if a Guy is a Jerk

You don't need a guy who...

1. Makes you feel like a piece of garbage
2. Lies, deceives and manipulates you
3. Can't be faithful
4. Doesn't think you are amazing
5. Can't stop thinking about former or future relationships
6. Is rude, disrespectful, and mean
7. Requires you dismiss or ignore your personal standards, ethics, and sense of morality
8. Embarrasses and humiliates you
9. Uses you
10. Abuses you!

You know a guy is not good for you if...

1. You are constantly making excuses for his bad behavior.

2. There are times you feel fear and/or anxiety when you are around him. You are worried how he will react to you or to something you have done.

3. You find yourself giving in to demands that are against your personal sense of decency or morality.

4. His words of love do not match his actions.

5. You keep justifying and denying those nagging feelings that something is not right.

6. He tells you what you want and need.

7. He tries to inhibit or damage your relationships with your friends and family.

8. You find yourself wanting to inappropriate please him to gain his approval or love.

9. You feel you have to live a secret life (that doesn't involve anything inappropriate) so he won't get angry.

10. He has emotionally or physically abused you.

To be clear, I am a firm believer that people can and do change with significant help and appropriate intervention; and with lots of work.

However, when a relationship is harming your spirit, damaging your self-esteem, wasting your time and energy it is time to move on.

I've said this before but you do not need a relationship that is destroying your spirit or harming your life.

There is no man on the planet worth this.

And, you don't have to have a man to have self-worth.

In fact, being with a not-so-great man is not helping your self esteem it is DESTROYING it.

Better to be without a man than be with a hurtful man who is not right for you.

Now, please read the following very carefully.

I am NOT blaming women for the bad behavior of men. I realize that many men initially appear great and can put on a fabulous and convincing show. I understand there are GREAT women who find not so wonderful men. If you have picked less than great guys it does not mean you are not a good woman.
